The weight room is lacking A LOT! there’s only FOUR 5lb weights in the entire gym. And only 3 mats in the entire place. Weights are rusty and sticky. It’s not maintained at all. Guess all you pay for is multiple people behind the counter and the pool. Pretty disappointing. The cardio area WiFi doesn’t work and you can’t get reception. This place is overstaffed and under maintained.

I think it's a real Injustice that even if you are not swimming and just want to hang out with your kids you have to pay. Yes you can go to the top and stand down at them but you can't communicate with them at all. Also, it's in the little pricey for a community rec center. I think Castle Rock is good and a little bit too big for a britches:-(

This morning I decided to take the kids swimming and a lot of our neighborhood pools require memberships and I didn't want to do that.

So, we had two choices and we chose to do the Aquatics in Castle Rock,

I called this morning inquiring about the prices, hours for open swim and the lady on the other end of the phone Nicole was rude, and I mean she's was a very rude woman, she acted like I was disturbing her day, frustrating her with my questions, had better things to do. etc

So, when we get there the lady that checked us in was very nice showed us where the locker rooms were and said that it was a family locker room. They have a nice lap pool, they are doing construction on the big slides and the hot tub and both were closed.

We were there about 4 hours.

We were getting our stuff out of our locker in locker room and I'm a grown adult with two kids. There were so many young males (meaning middle school/highschool students) walking with their parents/ families or by themselves and or changing in the private bathrooms or the private stalls in the family locker room and older men too without children.

Now mind you they have 3 Private bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet, a bench, and changing table and they also have 2 private changing stalls with benches and a locking door.

I even asked someone, if this was the male locker room and they said no.

But, if I was feeling awkward I'm pretty sure my kids did too.

We went upstairs and I mentioned this to the lady at the desk and she said she would talk to the coaches about it and another coworker chimed in and said it's "NOT A Family Locker Room" they are called "CABANA" so it's a free for all..

Seriously, how am I supposed to know this when I was told This afternoon when we arrived that it was a family locker room there are young girls walking in and out using the private restroom and private stalls to change.

This was our first time going and I'm pretty sure this is going to be our last. The bathrooms were disgusting, smelly and toilet paper was everywhere..
